The Cumming FUMC Festival of Arts was established in 2008 with the intent of showcasing professional and student visual artists in gallery settings and performing artists in concert settings. The two-week long Festival of Arts has quickly become recognized as one of the leading fine arts festivals in North Georgia and regularly features the disciplines of visual art, music, dance, film, drama and literature.
The Professional Visual Arts Division of the Festival of Arts encompasses 2D, 3D and photography pieces. It is open to college and above. Entries are submitted online, by CD, or USB Flash Drive. Works must be appropriate for general audience viewing. Nudes or controversial subjects cannot be accepted.
The Bach’s Lunch series is designed to bring high quality programming to the community contained within the traditional lunch hour. Bach’s Lunch concerts take place each weekday at Noon. These concerts are FREE and last approximately 25-30 minutes. Following the concerts, a light lunch is available for $5 in the arts café in the Family Life Center next door to the sanctuary building.
